During the past 12 months we published exactly 102 blog posts, the number of the contributing authors grew to 23, and everyone’s work made the NEO Blog advance into the first 4% of all e-learning blogs! Although it was hard to decide which blog posts have been the best of the best, here are 10 of them that we think deserve the spotlight:
For a few days at the end of this month Philadelphia will be home to the most comprehensive educational technology conference in the world: ISTE 2019. Make your way in the expo hall to Booth 900, where you’ll find the NEO team eager to share insights on how to effectively manage online classroom activities and also showcase our product’s newest features:
Graham Glass, CEO of CYPHER LEARNING, and Phill Bevan, Community Advisor at VETR, explore the six key digital learning trends that are reshaping the EdTech landscape in a live event for Digital Learning Day 2019.
It’s hard to imagine what the future of education will be like when you’re already surrounded by it. That was the general feeling I had while attending BETT just last week. The BETT Show is one of the oldest and largest events in the ed-tech industry worldwide and the NEO Team was proud to be a part of it this year as well.
We learned a lot during the past year. And if you’re a regular reader of this blog, I hope you did too. From gamification to digital citizenship to PD for teachers to classroom robots and everything in between, the 102 posts that have been published on the NEO Blog in the last 12 months covered oh so many subjects related to education technology and e-learning for educational institutions. Happy birthday NEO Blog!
Thanks to the SAMR Model, teachers are able to determine whether the technology they are using in their classroom is enhancing or transforming teaching and learning activities. Ultimately, the model shows that in this day and age, teachers must focus on the transformation of learning, to prepare the students for the future and enhance their work-ready skills. Join our webinar to learn more about the practical part of the SAMR Model!
NEO will be exhibiting at ISTE 2018, between June 25-27. The NEO team is super-excited to head over to Chicago in less than a week! It’s the fourth time we will be exhibiting at ISTE, so we are four times as excited. We will be providing attendees with insights on how to effectively manage online classroom activities, answering any questions, and showcasing the newest features such as adaptive learning and micro learning.
Exactly one week from now the NEO team will be present — for the second time — at The Bett Show! Drop by our booth F302 in any day of the event to meet the team, chat about online learning, student engagement, 21st Century learning solutions and how could we all transform education for a better future, and also see what we’ve been up to lately. There will be live demos, showcasing of our latest features, and a raffle with prizes!
Earlier this month we attended OEB – an event aimed at shaping the future of learning – and the main theme for the event was ‘Learning Uncertainty’. Currently, the education landscape is in the midst of change; there is a constant shift in the way things are being taught, learned, delivered and captured. One of the solutions that stood out as an overarching trend in this conversation, and something that we spoke to Training Journalabout, is the idea of personalized learning.
